Ledger on August 7 announced it has added 8 new cryptocurrencies which would be supported by its Ledger Nano S device.
Ledger now supports PoA, Icon, VeChain, WanChain, Ontology, Kowala, particl and RSK.
The company aims to provide extremely secure, yet user-friendly solutions to a wide audience of both power users and newbies.
From now on, the release of new coin applications will happen every first Tuesday of the month, with new third-party device applications bundled in a single release.
The new applications will be available for installation on Ledger devices through its native companion app Ledger Live.
However, the newly added cryptos are not directly compatible with Ledger Live and you’ll be required to use a compatible third-party wallet to perform transactions.
